I remember clearly where I was and what I was doing when the first plane struck. And when the second plane struck. Living in Northern Virginia, I was not even allowed to pick my child up from school. . It should be no less memorialized than December 7th. I was less than 3 miles from the plane striking the Pentagon. God bless every emergency support person, whether firefighter EMS police who went to the help of all the people in danger
