Ahh, Nin. Read her diaries, the gerbil-wheel of thoughts…yet, she took risks and created space for her style and met her needs… And in this effort, the reward great, hers and, gratefully, ours.

My friend should read her writing, they share a great deal in common.

That’s not a photo of Anin Nin

have any more information? (note: It doesn’t claim to clam to be someone named “Anin Nin”, it’s allegedly the author Anaïs Nin). If you have information that reveals the photo to be of someone other than Henry Miller and Anaïs Nin, I’d be happy to correct it.

  6. His lover, Brenda Venus. NOT Anais Nin!!!!!!!

    • The Butcher says:

I’m surprised it’s taken this long for the woman to be correctly identified by a reader. I wonder why this photo has been circulating incorrectly labeled? Thanks for the name of the woman in the photo.

Anais Nin was born in 1903 and died three years before Henry Miller, in 1977.
