Amazon Studios lands Monica Lewinsky-Linda Tripp Bill Clinton Movie

reports: Amazon Studios has acquired Linda And Monica, the Black List script by Flint Wainess that details the budding friendship between D.C. pals Linda Trippand Monica Lewinsky that imploded when it led to the revelation of the scandalous relationship between the White House intern and President Bill Clinton.

The film will be produced by Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch, the Escape Artists trio that produced the Best Picture nominated Fences and the upcoming sequel to The Equalizer.

Lewinsky was a 22-year old White House intern and Tripp a White House aide who secretly recorded her young pal’s revelations of sexual liasons with then President Bill Clinton in the White House. Tripp, who later said she was acting in her former friend’s best interests, leaked the tape to Kenneth Starr, the special prosecutor who was investigating Whitewater. It became a tawdry scandal complete with a subpoena of her blue semen-stained dress, and it later a congressional call for impeachment. It severely crushed the career and life of Lewinsky, and her family — I remember her father once speaking out publicly when the NBC series Law & Order took to calling a certain sex act a “Lewinsky.” Lewinsky said the notoriety made it impossible for her to find work, and she stayed out of the limelight until briefly resurfacing as an anti-bullying advocate several years ago. Most Dangerous Man in America: FBI Director James Comey

comey

FBI Director James B. Comey decided to inform Congress that he would look again into Hillary Clinton’s handling of emails during her time as secretary of state for two main reasons: a sense of obligation to lawmakers and a concern that word of the new email discovery would leak to the media and raise questions of a coverup.

“Of course, we don’t ordinarily tell Congress about ongoing investigations, but here I feel I also think it would be misleading to the American people were we not to supplement the record.”

— Director Janes Comey, in a memo to FBI employees

The rationale, described by officials close to Comey’s decision-making on the condition of anonymity, prompted the FBI director to release his brief letter to Congress on Friday and upset a presidential race less than two weeks before Election Day. It placed Comey again at the center of a highly partisan argument over whether the nation’s top law enforcement agency was unfairly influencing the campaign.

“It is extraordinary that we would see something like this just 11 days out from a presidential election. The Director owes it to the American people to immediately provide the full details of what he is now examining.”

— John Podesta, chairman of Clinton’s presidential campaign

In a memo explaining his decision to FBI employees soon after he sent his letter to Congress, Comey said he felt “an obligation to do so given that I testified repeatedly in recent months that our investigation was completed.”

“Of course, we don’t ordinarily tell Congress about ongoing investigations, but here I feel I also think it would be misleading to the American people were we not to supplement the record,” Comey wrote to his employees.

The last time Comey found himself in the campaign spotlight was in July, when he announced that he had finished a months-long investigation into whether Clinton mishandled classified information through the use of a private email server during her time as secretary of state. After he did so, the denunciation was loudest from Republican nominee Donald Trump and his supporters, who accused the FBI director of bias in favor of Clinton’s candidacy. There was also grumbling within FBI ranks, with a largely conservative investigative corps complaining privately that Comey should have tried harder to make a case.

This time the loudest criticism has come from Clinton and her supporters, who said Friday that Comey had provided too little information about the nature of the new line of investigation and allowed Republicans to seize political ground as a result. The inquiry focuses on Clinton emails found on a computer used by former congressman Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.), now under investigation for sending sexually explicit messages to a minor, and top Clinton aide Huma Abedin, who is Weiner’s wife. The couple have since separated. Read the rest of this entry »

[VIDEO] Krauthammer: Clinton Foundation Corruption Motivated Private E-mail Server

Clinton Global Initiative

“Look, this brings us back full-circle to where we started. The original question was: ‘Why does she have a private e-mail?’ She said convenience — obviously, that was ridiculous, she’s carrying around a whole lot of devices — it was obvious she was hiding something. Think about it: She set it up in 2009, before becoming secretary of state. So she anticipated having exchanges that she would not want anyone to see.”

“We have been asking ourselves on this set for a year almost, “What exactly didn’t she want people to see? Well now we know. As we speculated, the most plausible explanation was the rank corruption of the Clinton Foundation and its corrupt — I don’t know if it’s illegal, but corrupt relationship with the State Department. And her only defense, as we saw earlier, the Democrats are saying, ‘Well, there was nothing that she did — as in the Raytheon case — that was corrupted by donations.’ You can believe that if you want, there’s a reason that people give donations in large amounts. That’s to influence the outcome of decisions. We are getting unfolding to us exactly what she anticipated having to hide. And it’s really dirty business.”

[VIDEO] Rigging the Election Video III: Creamer Confirms Hillary Clinton Involvement

Project Veritas Action has released the third video in a multi-part series that is sending shockwaves through the DNC and the Clinton campaign. The first video explained the dark secrets and the hidden connections and organizations the Clinton campaign uses to incite violence at Trump rallies. The second video exposed a diabolical step-by-step voter fraud strategy discussed by top Democratic operatives and showed one key operative admitting that the Democrats have been rigging elections for fifty years. This latest video takes this investigation even further.

Part III of the undercover investigation dives further into the back room dealings of Democratic politics.  It exposes prohibited communications between Hillary Clinton’s campaign, the DNC and the non-profit organization Americans United for Change.  And, it’s all disguised as a duck.

Several Project Veritas Action undercover journalists catch Democracy Partners founder directly implicating Hillary Clinton in FEC violations.

“In the end, it was the candidate, Hillary Clinton, the future president of the United States, who wanted ducks on the ground,” says Creamer in one of several exchanges. “So, by God, we would get ducks on the ground.”

It is made clear that high-level DNC operative Creamer realized that this direct coordination between Democracy Partners and the campaign would be damning when he said: “Don’t repeat that to anybody.”

Obama is a son of the continent. His late father was a goat herder who went on to become a Harvard-educated government economist for his native Kenya. That connection, he hopes, will give a special resonance to his words. [VIDEO] The First Presidential Debate in 3 Minutes

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump met for the first presidential debate last night at Hofstra University in New York. The major party candidates hoped to make their case to the record number of American voters expected to watch. Meanwhile, third party candidates Gary Johnson and Jill Stein, despite pulling a combined double digits in national polls, were locked out.

The lack of an alternative viewpoint to the Republican-Democrat status quo led to some familiar discussions. On security, Trump emphasized his support for bringing back and expanding New York City’s defunct stop-and-frisk policy while Clinton focused on the need for more restrictions on gun ownership. Trump’s failure to acknowledge that stop-and-frisk was both unconstitutional and ineffective in reducing crime was only matched by Clinton’s failure to mention that gun violence is at historic lows despite soaring gun sales.

For libertarians in particular, the most egregious parts of the debate may not have been the disagreements, but the times when the candidates were aligned. They nodded in agreement when it came to opposing free trade accords, increasing spending and debt, and denying gun rights to people placed on government lists without due process.

Also, NBC’s Lester Holt made a brief appearance as moderator. Read the rest of this entry »

[VIDEO] Bill Clinton: ‘Black Lives Matter’ Protesters Are Defending Murders And Drug Dealers

On Thursday, while Bill Clinton was giving a speech to a crowd of Hillary Clinton supporters, he was repeatedly interrupted by Black Lives Matter protesters. He responded to them, saying, “you are defending the people who killed the lives you say matter. Tell the truth.”

Bill Clinton Defends His Record to Black Lives Matter

Ace writes:

I don’t think this is an especially tough rebuttal to Black Lives Matter as Black Lives Matter. He’s not really criticizing them, their naked racial supremacism, or their tactics of disrupting citizens’ lives — their commutes to work, their lunches — and bullying.

He’s mostly just pimping his record. Though he does ultimately turn to telling them, “You are ultimately defending the people” who got 13 year olds hooked on crack and murdered.

Still, to even rebut them and dispute their outlandish claims is a major event. Everyone treats these radicals as if they have Absolute Moral Authority and that the only possible response to their constant, violence-tinged disruptions is to say, “Yes of course you’re right — you are black, and I am white. Therefore everything you say is good and wise, and yes, you can shout in my face for ten minutes while I try to have a moment’s peace eating this sandwich away from my office.”

So I suppose to challenge their Absolute Moral Authority is a something of a deep wound…(read more)

OH YES SHE DID: Hillary Told Chelsea Terrorists Were Behind Benghazi Attack

hillary

Chuck Ross reports: Hillary Clinton sent an email to her daughter, Chelsea, on Sept. 11, 2012 in which she asserted that an al-Qaida-like group was responsible for the terrorist attacks in Benghazi, it was revealed on Thursday during the former secretary of state’s testimony to the House Select Committee on Benghazi.

The email, which was revealed by Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan , indicates that Clinton knew early on that the attacks which left four Americans dead was carried out by terrorists. But as Jordan pointed out, Clinton and others in the Obama administration had already begun crafting the narrative that the attack was spontaneous and that the attackers were motivated by a YouTube video many Muslims found offensive.

In the email cited by Jordan, Clinton responded to daughter Chelsea, who emailed under the pseudonym Diane Reynolds.

“Two of our officers were killed in Benghazi by an Al Queda-like [sic] group,” Clinton wrote.

diane

But shortly before the email, after it was revealed that Ambassador Chris Stevens had been murdered in the onslaught, Clinton implied that the YouTube video had served as a motive.

“Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted to the Internet,” Clinton said in a statement shortly after Stevens’ death.

WATCH:

The Obama administration continued for days after the attack to claim that the YouTube video — entitled “Innocence of Muslims” — had sparked protests which turned violent. Critics of the administration’s handling of the response to the attack assert that the YouTube video was used as political cover to protect Obama ahead of his re-election bid. Obama had been on the campaign trail insisting that he had destroyed al-Qaida.

Jordan compared Clinton’s disparate positions, asserting that she “knew the truth” but insisted on casting some blame on the video.

“You tell the American people one thing, you tell your family an entirely different story,” Jordan said. Read the rest of this entry »

Krauthammer: Hillary ‘Hiding in the Bunker’ as Clinton Foundation Story Creates Problems

The curious case of the Clinton Foundation’s cash continues to unravel, and it’s not good for Hillary, says Charles Krauthammer.

“Where is she? First, they put out their stooges to go out and defend them; then their daughter, then the husband. She’s sort of hiding in the bunker.”

But those proxies are not working out. The Clinton campaign had to “throw [Bill] under the bus,” Krauthammer noted, following a less-than-encouraging interview with NBC over the weekend. “ ‘Well, it’s just him,’ [says the campaign.] Well, it may be just him, but the name of the Foundation is Hillary and Bill and Chelsea.”

“The one thing that impresses me. You mentioned how no Democrats are coming out. The numbers in the Wall Street Journal poll are very telling. Democrats are hanging onto Hillary. Those numbers are stable. They are all in either because they believe in her, or they know that they’ve got no choice — this is it.”

Chris Cillizza: ‘There Are 31,380 Clinton E-mails We’ll Never See. There’s Something Wrong With That’

clinton-emails-graph

Chris Cillizzaimrs-1.php writes: It’s been 18 hours (or so) since Hillary Clinton addressed questions about her decision to exclusively use a private e-mail address (and mail server) during her four years as secretary of state. And there’s one thing, actually one number, that I just keep getting stuck on: 31,380.

That’s the number of e-mails that Clinton and her lawyers deemed “private, personal records” and, therefore, neither turned over to the State Department nor preserved in any way, shape or form. What that means: Roughly half of all e-mails — 62,320 — that Clinton sent and received during her time as the nation’s top diplomat are gone forever. And that the only way anyone can verify that they were, as Clinton insisted on Tuesday, “private” and “personal” is to take her word for it.

Clinton-benghazi-2-Applewhite

That fact becomes even more politically troublesome for Clinton when you consider how, according to a document her office released in the wake of her news conference, the sorting of work-related and personal e-mail was conducted. Here are the four criteria her office used:

1. Any e-mail sent to or received from an address including “.gov” was included.

2. The e-mail set was searched for the first and last name of 100 State Department employees and government officials. Any matches were reviewed.

3. All of the other e-mails were reviewed to evaluate the sender and recipient, in case of typos.

4. All of the e-mails were searched for specific terms, including “Libya” and “Benghazi.”

Okay. What those criteria never make clear is whether anyone actually read every one of Clinton’s 62,000-plus e-mails to determine whether there might be something in each one that could be seen as not purely personal. It’s possible that the fact that the e-mails were “reviewed to evaluate the sender and recipient” could mean that someone read each one, but that language is decidedly dense (whether purposefully or not).

It all comes back to this simple fact: People being paid by Clinton reviewed — whether individually or through a series of filtered searches — all of her e-mails and made a decision that more than 30,000 of them were purely personal. Read the rest of this entry »

“While my role with NBC News may be coming to an end, I look forward to working with the NBC family well into the future.”

Chelsea Clinton has formally stepped down from her post as special correspondent for NBC News, saying she intends to focus on her work with the Clinton Foundation as well as the baby she is expecting later this year.

Clinton joined NBC News in 2011, a hire that immediately raised eyebrows in journo circles given both her history of avoiding the press and the expected 2016 presidential bid by her mother, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Read the rest of this entry »

NBC Paid Chelsea Clinton Half a Million Dollars Fuh Nuthin’

The ‘Royal’ Clinton Baby

The U.S. media treat America’s powerful families as untitled nobility

For National Review OnlineCharles C. W. Cooke writes: Depressing as it might be for the radicals among us to admit, John Adams’s failed and embarrassing quest to have the nation’s president referred to as “His Majesty” or “His High Mightiness” was the exception rather than the rule — an early win for republicanism before the inevitable losses started stacking up. Time after time during the last century or so, the White House has suggested that it should perhaps accrue a little more power, perhaps spend a little more money on itself, and perhaps place the administration a little closer to the center of public life. In each and every instance, the public has acquiesced. Alas, this is not Calvin Coolidge’s country anymore. Where once the president fretted over the cost of pencils and the expense of state dinners, he now has a fleet of aircraft, a billion-dollar household budget, and a trio of calligraphers. “His Majesty,” indeed.

In the abstract, at least, Americans prefer to think of themselves as being congenitally opposed to aristocracy and the trappings of monarchy. The notion of unceremonious men who rise from the log cabin to the White House has considerable purchase in the national imagination, and, during elections, at least, it still matters considerably.
