An explosion was reported on Thursday outside the U.S. Embassy in Beijing.

Bystanders shared video of the aftermath on social media, showing images of smoke unfurling in the street and what appeared to be police vehicles surrounding the building in the city’s Chaoyang District.

American and Chinese officials did not immediatly respond to comments on the incident.

BREAKING: ‘Explosive Device’ Goes Off in Germany City 


BERLIN –  An “explosive device” blew up in the center of the Bavarian city of Ansbach, killing one person and injuring 11 others, the city’s mayor told local media early Monday.

Mayor Carda Seidel was quoted by Munich’s Focus magazine as saying that the explosion late Sunday night was near the entrance to an open-air music festival.

The website for a group of local newspapers,, reported that Seidel said it was not yet clear if it was an attack.

German police told the dpa news agency earlier that the explosion was outside a cafe in Ansbach, which is near Nuermberg.

It is understood that a fourth attack has taken place in Paris this evening, a shooting at a large shopping mall.It is understood that the shooting has taken place at the Les Halles shopping mall, close to Centre Pompidou.It is not yet known if there have been any fatalities at the mall shooting….

Terror in France: 35 Confirmed Dead in Paris Attacks, 60 100 Held Hostage 


PARIS — Several people were killed and seven others injured in a shooting in central Paris late Friday, according to BFMTV. At least 18 26 30+ people were killed, CNN reports. Sixty people are being held hostage in a concert hall, according to Fox News.

Police were outside a restaurant in the 10th arrondissement, where the incident occurred.


Lylia Melkonian, a reporter for France 2, told CNN there were three different sites where people were shot. CNN could not immediately confirm the number of places where shots were fired.

Police officials told the Associated Press there was an explosion in a bar near a Paris stadium.

BREAKING: French Police Report Shootout and Explosion in Paris 

Police officials in France say there has been an explosion in a bar near a Paris stadium and a shootout in a Paris restaurant.

BFM television says there were several dead in the restaurant shooting in the 10th arrondissement of the capital. Two police officials confirmed the shooting but had no information about casualties.

One of the police officials said there was a separate explosion near the Stade de France north of Paris. It was unclear if the events were linked.

Both officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to be publicly named….

TIANJIN — A massive explosion late Wednesday shook the northern Chinese city of Tianjin, startling nearby residents with tremors and noise, but it was not known immediately if there were any casualties, according to state media.

The explosion in Tianjin erupted at a container port where flammable material was being stored in containers, reported CCTV, China’s state-owned broadcaster.

Explosion and Fire in the East Village


 reports: Firefighters were on the scene of an apparent explosion on Thursday afternoon in the East Village, and a building at the site appeared to have been partially destroyed while another building was engulfed in flames.

A witness reported hearing a large explosion at the five-story building, which is at the corner of Second Avenue and Seventh Street.

The authorities were closing down the surrounding streets, concerned about the building collapsing further and sending debris flying.

Officials said that they could not say yet if anyone was in the building when it collapsed or if anyone was in the neighboring building that was in flames. Read the rest of this entry »
