Note what’s hanging on Sean’s wall.
…The fog of time and the strength of anti-anti-Communism have obscured the real Che. Who was he? He was an Argentinian revolutionary who served as Castro’s primary thug. He was especially infamous for presiding over summary executions at La Cabana, the fortress that was his abattoir. He liked to administer the coup de grace, the bullet to the back of the neck. And he loved to parade people past El Paredon, the reddened wall against which so many innocents were killed.
Furthermore, he established the labor-camp system in which countless citizens–dissidents, democrats, artists, homosexuals–would suffer and die. This is the Cuban gulag. A Cuban-American writer, Humberto Fontova, described Guevara as “a combination of Beria and Himmler.” Anthony Daniels once quipped, “The difference between [Guevara] and Pol Pot was that [the former] never studied in Paris.”
And yet, he is celebrated by “liberals,” this most illiberal of men. As Paul Berman summed up recently in Slate, “Che was an enemy of freedom, and yet he has been erected into a symbol of freedom. He helped establish an unjust social system in Cuba and has been erected into a symbol of social justice. He stood for the ancient rigidities of Latin-American thought, in a Marxist-Leninist version, and he has been celebrated as a freethinker and a rebel.”

New York Daily News, Feb 8, 2015: Bruce Jenner Reportedly Blamed Paparazzi for the Crash, Sergeant Disputes that ClaimPosted: February 8, 2015
Bruce Jenner blamed a pursuing pack of paparazzi Saturday for a horrific California four-car pileup that left one woman dead and five more hospitalized.
The fatal wreck occurred on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, with one-time Olympic gold medalist Jenner luckily able to walk away from the carnage, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Sgt. Matt Dunn.
“He is not under any investigation right now as far as driving while intoxicated. Mr. Jenner did not appear to be injured in the accident, nor does it appear he was the cause of the accident.”
A 1-month-old baby inside a Hummer involved in the wreck also escaped without injury, authorities said.
The pony-tailed Jenner, 65, who is reportedly transitioning from a man to a woman, was fleeing five photographers when his Cadillac Escalade rear-ended a white Lexus, sources in his family told TMZ.
The chain-reaction wreck at 12:12 p.m. killed the woman at the wheel of the Lexus while scattering pieces of glass, plastic and shredded steel on the highway.
A witness told USA Today that photographers stood snapping photos of the shaken Jenner — who was driving the Escalade — in the minutes after the harrowing fatal accident.
“It happened so fast,” said Veronica Bermudez, an employee at the nearby Malibu Roadhouse who echoed Jenner’s charge about the chase by the celebrity shutterbugs.
“They (paparazzi) were here right away,” she told the newspaper. “How could they have gotten here that fast otherwise? I don’t know why they have to follow him, and not just leave him alone.”
Photos captured the actual moment of impact when Jenner’s black SUV slammed into the rear of the stopped Lexus. Jenner slammed on the brakes, leaving skidmarks in his wake before the massive crash, said Sgt. Philip Brooks of the sheriff’s department.
But the sergeant disputed the reports of a paparazzi chase preceding the wreck.
“That wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense, but it’s always possible,” said Brooks. “We can’t confirm that.”
The reality show star and former decathlon champion became the center of massive media attention in recent weeks over reports that he was going to become a woman. Read the rest of this entry »

(AP) America was shocked when news accounts first emerged outlining gruesome details of an unimaginable crime involving two iconic celebrity sweethearts, Barbie and Ken. When Ken’s headless body was discovered by Los Angeles Police, in Barbie’s Malibu apartment, a homicide investigation was launched, and only one suspect emerged.
Photographic evidence collected during the investigation, implicating Barbie in the crime, appeared on the internet, allegedly leaked by the District Attorney‘s office. In a shocking display of macabre cheerfulness, Barbie is depicted cleaning up after the murder, attempting to destroy DNA evidence. Barbie, America’s beloved icon, was arrested, and held without bail.
Grand Jury testimony revealed enough evidence to charge Barbie on four counts, aggravated assault, conspiracy, first degree murder, and obstruction of justice.
Los Angeles Law Enforcement Officials described the crime as “heinous”, and urged parents not to discuss the crime with children, at least until after the Christmas holiday. “It’s tragic”, said one investigator “We’ve been called to Barbie’s Malibu residence on a few minor domestic disputes, but there was nothing to suggest anything like this. She must have just snapped”.
