Oregon Sheriff: Gun Control Push ‘Borderline Treasonous,’ Will Not Enforce

AWR Hawkins. reports: While Oregon Democrats stood with Gabby Giffords and the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence to push expanded background checks on April 1, Grant County Sheriff Glenn Palmer stood for the law-abiding citizens whom the checks will target by describing the gun control push as “borderline treasonous.”

Palmer also made clear that if the Democrats pass the measure there is zero chance of his office enforcing it.

Breitbart News previously reported that the push for expanded background checks in Oregon is being spearheaded by state (D-Eugene). His efforts are strongly supported by the Brady Campaign and Giffords.

[VIDEO] Two Killed in Shooting at Washington State High School, 2nd Police Update

Two people were killed and four others were injured—with three reported critical condition—in a shooting on Friday at Marysville Pilchuck High School in Marysville, Wash.

The alleged shooter, who was a student, and one other person were killed, the police said. A law-enforcement official added that the shooting suspect appeared to have died from a self-inflicted wound. The police officials offered no details about the second death.

A Marysville hospital said four young people have been admitted, two males and two females, adding that three are listed in critical condition in either surgery or an intensive-care unit.

BREAKING: At Least Three Shot at Seattle Pacific University, Suspect in Custody

Reuters reports: At least three people were shot at Seattle Pacific University on Thursday, and the suspect was in custody, Seattle police said on social media.

The Seattle Times newspaper put the number of wounded higher, at seven, none fatally, and said that police were evacuating Otto Miller Hall on campus, but a police spokesman at the scene confirmed only three victims.

Seattle police had initially said via twitter that four people were confirmed shot but later downgraded that to three, saying a SWAT team was searching the campus and that authorities were receiving conflicting information about the number of victims…(read more)
