WAUKESHA COUNTY, Wis. – A former high school teacher has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a student while working at New Berlin West High School in Wisconsin.
“Investigators found evidence on Domres’ phone of the two referring to each other as ‘baby boo.”
Sara Domres, 28, pleaded guilty Thursday to two counts of sexual assault of a student by school staff, both felony charges. She will be sentenced on September 30.
According to court documents, the relationship between Domres and the 16-year-old male student began during the 2014-2015 school year. A criminal complaint states that the victim was in an English class taught by Domres, and the two “became friends and began to text each other a lot.”
“On the same day that her husband had his bachelor party during the 2015-2016 school year, Domres had sex with the boy at the Motel 6.”
Investigators found evidence on Domres’ phone of the two referring to each other as “baby boo.” Texts read, “I love you!” and, “You’re extremely attractive to me!!!”

“The two also allegedly had sex at the Park and Ride on Moorland Road in New Berlin in July 2015.”
On the same day that her husband had his bachelor party during the 2015-2016 school year, Domres had sex with the boy at the Motel 6 off of Bluemound Road in the Town of Brookfield, according to court documents.

Julia Marsh reports: A Brooklyn public-school teacher whines in a new lawsuit that she was unfairly fired from her job for bedding her 12-year-old student — even though DNA, videotape, text and financial records pin her to the dirty deed.
“Rosario also says the student recorded a video that shows his teacher putting her pants on in a motel room.”
Claudia Tillery, who spent her 15-year career at the Stephen Decatur Middle School, wants back in the classroom because a jury cleared her of criminal charges.
“Tillery and her young charge exchanged 8,000 text messages over two years using pseudonyms. In one message the teacher texted, ‘What’s up babe?'”
But a Department of Education hearing officer found in April that a “preponderance of the credible record evidence” proves that Tillery raped the youngster — then painted him as a “master manipulator” to duck a criminal conviction.
In departmental hearings, the standard of proof is lower than the “beyond a reasonable doubt” standard required for a criminal conviction. Tillery was arrested in 2011 and acquitted in 2014.
“…the officer sided with the DOE, which scoffed at Tillery’s claims that a 12-year-old ‘concocted a grand conspiracy and coerced her, a middle-school teacher, to ignore sound judgment and to put him into a fleabag motel and give him hundreds of dollars.’”
The mother of two argues in her Manhattan Supreme Court suit against the DOE that she was deprived of due process because the hearing officer used sealed evidence from her criminal case and didn’t give proper credit to her own witnesses.

‘Embarrassed and Mortified’: Oklahoma High School Teacher Confessed to Sex with Student Inside Teacher’s Lounge Multiple Times

WAYNOKA, Oklahoma — An Oklahoma teacher has admitted to having sex with a student multiple times in the teacher’s lounge at the school according to state officials
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation questioned Daresa Poe, 32, after receiving an anonymous tip reported KFOR-TV.
According to a Woods County affidavit, investigators questioned the Waynoka School teacher and the student on Tuesday, only hours after the two had sex in the student’s pickup.
The two allegedly had been meeting up since December, both admitting to having sex in Daresa’s home, in the student’s vehicle, and several times in the school teacher’s lounge.
The affidavit includes a written confession by Poe:
“I am Daresa Poe, a wife, mother and teacher. I have made a horrible mistake. I have let my judgment falter and I am embarrassed and mortified for the decisions I have made in the last two weeks. I have had sexual intercourse with a student. I am so very sorry for the [decisions] I have made. I would take it back in a heartbeat if the chance was given to me…I hold a position of importance where people and student[s] look up to me and I have failed. For this I am truly sorry.”
Waynoka School officials did not comment on the matter, but did confirm that Poe had been suspended with pay. Poe has been a teacher at the school for six years. Read the rest of this entry »
Joy Morsi Update: Queens Gym Teacher Gets Probation For Sex With Underage Students

A Ridgewood gym teacher has been sentenced to 10 months probation for pleading guilty to having sex with two underage male students, though she will have to complete a year’s worth of therapy in order to avoid jail time.
Joy Morsi, 40, was arrested in June when a student at the Grover Cleveland High School, where she taught since 1999, accused her of having a year-long sexual relationship with him when he was only 16. A second 16-year-old boy later came forth to accuse her as well, and she pleaded guilty on Friday to rape and criminal sexual act charges.
In addition to sentencing her to a year-long out-patient program for a diagnosed depressive disorder, a Queens Supreme Court judge also ordered that she give up her teaching license and register as a sex offender…(read more)

A Queens gym teacher pleaded guilty to having sexual relations with two of her students and was sentenced to a year of outpatient psychiatric counseling Friday, officials said.
If she completes the therapy, Joy Morsi, 40, will be sentenced to 10 years’ probation, a Queens Supreme Court judge ordered. Morsi must also give up her teaching license and register as a sex offender.
The Ridgewood teacher admitted to having sex with a 16-year-old Grover Cleveland High School student and exposing herself and performing a sex act on a second 16-year-old student, officials said. Her attorney said she had a diagnosed “depressive disorder.” (read more)
